Kiwi and Banana Smoothie

This smoothie contains a nice amount of protein, fat and fiber, which helps prevent low blood sugar – a common source of energy loss that usually strikes in the afternoon.

Ingredients

Kiwi fruit (peeled and cut into pieces)
Banana (cut into pieces)
1 cup of cooled brewed green tea
1 tablespoon of flaxseed
1 tablespoon of spirulina powder

Ice cubes are added to the smoothie recipe until the consistency of the beverage is to the liking of the drinker.
